The Journey
The Journey is a transformative programme designed to empower formerly incarcerated individuals through pro-social life skills and character development, grounded in restorative practices. This initiative uses hand-building pottery techniques to offer a creative and reflective space where participants cultivate patience, self-expression, and resilience.
In addition to artistic expression, the programme includes group discussions, mentorship, and community engagement, helping participants develop essential skills such as empathy, accountability, and emotional regulation. As they shape clay, participants also shape their future—learning teamwork, perseverance, and self-discipline in a supportive environment.
The Journey not only enables participants to craft unique ceramic pieces but also helps them rebuild confidence and a sense of belonging. The programme connects them with peers, mentors, and the community, offering the tools and support needed for reintegration and empowering them to move forward with hope and purpose.
Family Matters
Family Matters is a pilot programme that helps incarcerated individuals begin their reconciliation journey with their families. Rooted in restorative principles, it provides a safe space for open conversations through restorative circles, promoting understanding, healing, and reconnection. For many, this programme is a crucial step in rebuilding trust and strengthening family bonds before release.
The programme integrates creative expression through pottery, where participants engage in reflective practice using hand-building techniques. This nurtures patience, self-expression, and emotional resilience, helping individuals reshape their relationships with care and intention.

Dads Do Care
Dads Do Care helps incarcerated fathers remain engaged in their children’s lives while in prison. Grounded in restorative principles, the programme fosters self-awareness, emotional connection, and responsibility, empowering fathers to strengthen their relationships despite physical separation.
Participants develop pro-social life skills and character through hand-building pottery. The creative process nurtures patience, self-expression, and resilience, mirroring the journey of shaping their roles as fathers and teaching perseverance, emotional regulation, and transformation.
In addition to artistic expression, Dads Do Care offers a supportive space for fathers to explore their identity, share experiences, and prepare for positive reintegration into their families and communities. Guided discussions, mentorship, and restorative practices help participants rebuild their confidence, nurture their children, and foster lasting relationships beyond prison walls.
