Awful Grace Ltd (“Awful Grace”) is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and protecting them from harm in accordance with Singapore’s Children and Young Persons Act (CYPA) and the guidelines from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). We recognise our responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment for all children we work with and to take proactive measures to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

We are guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and uphold children’s rights and well-being by:

  • Implementing strict safeguarding procedures, including background checks and reporting protocols.
  • Providing regular training for staff and volunteers on child protection best practices.
  • Conducting policy reviews at least every two years or as required by regulatory updates.


All photographs of children displayed on this website are used with informed consent from parents, guardians, or relevant authorities, in compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Code Of Conduct For Staff & Volunteers

To maintain a safe environment for children, all staff and volunteers must adhere to the
following:
✔ Respect and uphold children’s dignity and rights in all interactions.
✔ Maintain professional boundaries and avoid any inappropriate physical, verbal, or online
communication.
✔ Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the designated authority.
✔ Obtain informed consent before photographing or sharing information about children.
✔ Never engage in any form of child abuse, including physical, emotional, or sexual harm.
✔ Follow all child safeguarding policies and procedures set by Awful Grace Ltd.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including
termination or referral to authorities where necessary.

Whistleblowing Policy

Awful Grace Ltd encourages the reporting of any suspected violations of child protection
policies. Staff, volunteers, or third parties who witness misconduct, abuse, or policy
breaches are urged to report their concerns confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
